Over the years, Waiheke Island's wines have gained international recognition, attracting visitors to its vineyards.
Waiheke Island’s wine industry has a rich history, evolving from the early 1980s when pioneers began experimenting with grape cultivation. The establishment of the first commercial vineyard, Goldwater Estate, marked a significant milestone.
