Over the years, Waiheke Island's wines have gained international recognition, attracting visitors to its vineyards.

Waiheke Island’s wine industry has a rich history, evolving from the early 1980s when pioneers began experimenting with grape cultivation. The establishment of the first commercial vineyard, Goldwater Estate, marked a significant milestone.

Morning: 8:00 AM-11:30 AM

Morning:

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Take the ferry from Auckland Harbor to Waiheke Island. Enjoy the scenic views of Auckland city on the way and prepare for a day of wine exploration.

Late Morning:

  • 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Upon arrival at Waiheke Island, head to the first vineyard – Waiheke Wine Estate.

Late Afternoon:

  • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Head to Cable Bay Vineyards.

  • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Visit Stonyridge Vineyard.

Enjoy the night life in Auckland City

Evening:

  • 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Conclude the day of wine touring and return to Waiheke Island’s ferry terminal. Spend a peaceful time on the ferry, reflecting on the day’s wonderful experiences.

 

 

Night:

  • 6:30 PM: Upon returning to Auckland, choose a renowned restaurant in the city center for dinner and savor local New Zealand cuisine.
  • 8:30 PM: If time permits, take a stroll along the Auckland waterfront, enjoy the night scenery, and experience the city’s nightlife.
